H1Z1: King of the Kill
H1Z1: King of the Kill is a fast-paced, fight-to-the-death shooter, where players compete in large-scale, chaotic PvP spectacles of skill and wit.
Players fight against each other in solo or team-based matches, in rule-based Skirmishes, or in global events and tournaments. Whether players possess skill, luck, or a little bit of both, only one can prevail to stand alone at the top of the podium.
Battle Royale
Parachute in and hit the ground running. Whether in solo, 2-player, or 5-player mode, grab weapons and gear, and listen closely for those toxic gas warning sirens. At some point it all comes down to kill or be killed.
Head out guns blazing or camp out in a blackberry bush. It&s your choice in these chaotic matches of skill and wit.
Limited weapons. Rogue zombies. New rewards. You never know what to expect when a new Skirmish comes into play.
Skirmishes introduce another level of difficulty and intrigue to H1Z1: King of the Kill, providing special, time-limited ruleset modes. But one thing remains the same & to the final victor go the ultimate spoils.

Why Early Access?
&H1Z1: King of the Kill has always been developed under the principle of creating a game side-by-side with our players, and we’ve used Early Access as an opportunity to grow our relationship with our community. How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

The full version of King of the Kill will be a high-quality, highly- one that is well balanced, predictable, fair, and as fun to watch as it is to play.&
What is the current state of the Early Access version?
&Millions of players have already jumped into H1Z1: King of the Kill and competed in large-scale, chaotic PvP spectacles of skill and wit. Millions have watched casual and competitive tournament games live-streamed.
Players can expect to fight against each other in solo- or team-based matches or in rule-based Skirmishes. We are continuing to improve the game with updates, anti-cheat tech, and new features regularly as we work our way toward an official launch out of Early Access.&

There are less than two weeks left before the , and this update is all about correcting a few bugs and issues before the big tournament begins. As a reminder, we are not planning to make any major changes to the core gameplay between now and TwitchCon, as players have been training and prepping on the current build and we don't want to disrupt that.Updates:Improved smoke grenades obscuring of players and objects.Opening the inventory while running no longer briefly stops your character.Aim-point should be more consistent when aiming down sights as you exit cover.Items that are equipped via double-click while auto-running should no longer occasionally be unequipped.Actions performed immediately after throwing are no longer prevented or interrupted.Throws should no longer be rejected (duds) by quickly switching weapons after a throw, then switching back and trying to throw again.Number of throwables shown in Inventory is now always correct.Priming a throwable while inside a vehicle will no longer cause it to be immediately thrown upon exiting the vehicle.Players can no longer swap seats while a throwable is primed.Throw preview arc is now more accurate when throwing to the side of a vertical object (such as a building).Leaving a match will no longer cause any smoke grenades you’ve thrown to despawn before their timer runs out.

Thank you all for helping us test the revamped Events system with the Swagnum Opus ruleset on EU and NA servers! There is still more work to be done on the system, so Swagnum Opus will be reverting to a Skirmish mode for the weekend. We want to make sure that everyone still has a chance at the rewards, so we are continuing to work on the Events system so we can open them up to the rest of the world next week.The Swagnum Opus Skirmish will be available from now until 10AM PT on Monday, October 2. To play, select &Skirmish& from the &Play& menu!
