这是个来自国外的说法，在国外流传得非常的广。以至于《流言终结者》做过验证。他们做了一个实验，让已经适应了光亮环境的被试者进入一个黑暗的房间，去完成一个任务，结果这个人花了5分钟才搞定。但如果让被试的一只眼睛戴上眼罩30分钟，完成同样任务的时间会大大缩短。信息来源：一些西方的报道里还说，这种适应光明/黑暗环境的战术，今日的美军也有使用。美国的一本号称是海军陆战队出品的中有类似的说法：夜间裸眼袭击敌人时，尽量用点射，并闭上一只眼，以免被枪口的火焰晃瞎。（原话：Use short bursts to minimize muzzle flash and maintain night vision. Keep one eye closed. ）但是，一个说法原理上正确，不代表它就是正确的。流言终结者还说：这个说法原理正确，但没有任何的历史记录或者海军战术手册能证明这个战术存在过。另外，海盗戴眼罩是一个刻板印象，这个刻板印象来自小说的演绎。根据维基百科上的记载，这个刻板印象来自于的《金银岛》，这本书出版时间是1883年，大航海时代早过了，这早已不是海盗最光辉的时代。海盗们是否普遍戴眼罩都说不定。相比陆上的军队甚至是流寇，有关海盗的正式记录要少得多。因此，我们暂时没法从故纸堆中确认海盗们真的会如此用眼罩。

就全球范围来看，索马里海域空拍认识至今让海员谈之色变的危险区域。据专业人士分析，索马里海盗共有四个组织：索马里水兵、国家海洋志愿保护者、邦特兰卫队和梅尔卡。成员多是民兵出身，参加过索马里内战。他们抢劫商船，绑架人质，向船东索要高额赎金，如果船东如数支付，他们通常会释放人质，但仍有杀人记录。2008年索马里海盗约有100名成员，现在已发展至1200余人，扩张势头迅猛。印度洋280万平方英里的海域都有他们的身影。

I picked up the gleaming satchel on day one, just went back and tried to get the other two and I no longer have credit for the satchel and its not on the ship any longer. People doing this, do it all at once!

Maybe I'm just a dumbass, but I had a hard time getting the . There are a number of awesome people who have taken the time to put up helpful videos and instructions , but I felt these only showed how to find the location of the satchel and weren't very clear about how to reach it on the beam from which it hangs. You have to be good at jumping for this, which I'm not, so I couldn't get it even after multiple tries. You have to go to the uppermost part of the ship, where the steering wheel is. From there, get up to the raised banister (at the perimeter of the ship). on the side of the ship opposite that of the satchel, climb from the banister to the rope. Walk on the rope until you can jump down to the beam below (the beam at the end of which the satchel is hanging). Walk along the beam and click the satchel. Mobs respawn on the ship relatively rapidly, so if you suck at jumping like I do, you'll likely have to fight mobs a lot in your useless attempts at jumping and falling back onto the ship. But I seem to be in the minority as no one else had even mentioned this was a problem, so good luck to everyone...

Swim out toward the ocean beside the ship, when you see the sign that you are outside the Timeless Isle waters, you should be able to mount up and fly up a little bit (don't have to go too high)2. Line yourself up with the main bow of the ship (the one that has the satchel on the end) and fly straight over it, you will not be dismounted immediately and usually you can just stop over the bow and when you get dismounted you will fall right on it.3. Run to the end of the bow, get the treasure, and jump off.I used this method while the ship was full of pirates and was able to get it for the first time.Thanks!
this is all BS, the primary concept is good, but it is gonna take a slew of tries to hit the boom needed to slowly-SLOWLY-walk out to be able to pick up the Gleaming Treasure Satchel---good luck to all trying
