Most applicants, including children, are required to pay a Machine Readable Visa (MRV) fee to initiate their U.S. visa applications. This U.S. Government-mandated fee is a visa processing fee that is payable whether or not a visa is issued.
Applicants should first determine whether or not they require a visa to travel to the United States before submitting their applications.
Certain individuals may not need to pay an MRV fee, for example:

If you are a citizen of Canada or Bermuda (but not applying for an A, E, G, K or V visa category), you may not need a visa.

If you do need to apply for a visa, please follow the payment instructions below. Applicants must make a successful payment before they are permitted to schedule their interview appointment. Applicants who do not pay the correct fee for their visa type may be restricted from scheduling an interview.
Once the initial interview is scheduled, applicants are limited to the number of times they can reschedule their appointment. If you miss your scheduled appointment time, you may be required to pay the MRV fee again in order to schedule another interview. Please plan accordingly so that you are not required to pay an additional visa application fee. Visa application fees are non-refundable.
Instructions to Pay your Visa Fee
In Poland you may pay your visa fee, also known as the machine-readable visa (MRV) fee, using one of the following options:
Online Payment with Credit/Debit Card/PolCard (check&&when your receipt is active)&
Online Banking Transfer or Cash at Applicant’s Own Bank (check&&when your receipt is active)&
Cash at "Moje Rachunki"&(check&&when your receipt is&active)&
Payments made incorrectly are non-refundable. Common mistakes include paying in the wrong currency, paying without your proper receipt or reference number, and making duplicate payments. If you believe you have encountered a problem,

Without creating a profile in this system, you will experience considerable delays in receiving your receipt. It is critical to follow these instructions carefully.
Once you log in to your profile, please click on the “New Application/ Schedule Appointment” option on the left side of your screen. Complete all required steps.
Once you are on the Payment screen, click the “Click Here For All Payment Options” link to select your form of payment. To review further payment details, read the Fee Payment Options sections below.
When you go to “Click Here For All Payment Options” you will see the following options:
&Values are shown in U.S. Dollars (USD); however, the fee is paid in Polish z?oty (PLN) only.The PLN amounts are calculated automatically by the system based on the consular currency exchange rate determined by the U.S. Department of State. Applicants who do not pay the correct fee for their visa type may not be able to schedule an interview.
Select the payment option that is most convenient for you and make your payment. When you pay the visa fee, you acknowledge that this is a non-refundable visa application processing fee required as a prerequisite to the processing of an application. It does not indicate the existence of a contract with the applicant, nor does it guarantee a successful application. There is no refund possible regardless of the outcome of this application.
Whichever payment option you choose, you must save your CGI reference or receipt number. You will not be able to schedule an appointment without your CGI reference or receipt number.
Once you pay your visa fee, you can schedule your interview according to the fee payment processing timelines below. If you are not automatically redirected, log in to your profile

Fee Payment Options
Online Payment with Credit/Debit Card/PolCard
Using this payment option, you can schedule your appointment instantly (immediately after your bank processes the payment).
If you are applying for multiple visas for your family or group, you may combine the individual MRV fees for each application into one payment. Be aware that if you create a profile for your whole family or group, the system will prompt you by default to pay for the whole group.
Please note that to be accepted, PolCards must have a VISA/MasterCard logo on the card and also a CVV number on the back of the card.

After&you have selected credit/debit card as an option for your payment, please write down your receipt number in case of any problems. The receipt number will be used to schedule your appointment. It cannot be replaced if it is lost. You will not be able to schedule an appointment without your receipt number.
When&you click on the “Continue” button, you will be transferred into the payment system. You have to provide all required information. If the system asks for an “issue number,” please input “0”.

When the transaction is successfully completed, you can schedule your appointment immediately. The receipt number is automatically added to your profile in the appointment system.
Online Banking Transfer or Cash at Applicant’s Own Bank
Using this payment option, you will be able to schedule your appointment after 1:00 p.m. on the next business day if the payment is received by our bank by 5:00 p.m. If the payment is received by our bank after 5:00 p.m., you will be able to schedule your appointment after 1:00 p.m. on the second business day. The timing is based on when our bank receives your payment.
&You may pay your MRV fee using your online bank account or you can pay in cash at any bank. Your bank may apply charges to your account for these transactions.

Your unique CGI reference number will appear on the screen along with the information required to make the bank transfer or cash payment. You will use this number when processing your online payment. You must include this unique CGI reference number in the bank transfer instr otherwise, there will be a delay processing your payment. Please enter the number carefully.
2. Make&only one bank transfer per CGI Reference Number, as the payment is non-refundable. It is critical that you keep the CGI Reference number that you use to make your online bank transfer. You must have this number as proof of payment in order to schedule your visa interview appointment. It is the applicant's responsibility to save this number.
3. Enter&your CGI Reference Number in the “reference/reason to transfer,” “Remitting ID,” or other reference field on your online banking funds transfer page. Do not alter the CGI number or include any other information. If you do not include the CGI Reference, your payment will not be recognized. If you decide to pay in cash at the bank, print the document with your CGI Reference and fill out the bank form accordingly.

Any nonimmigrant visa applicant can pay the visa application fee in cash at any merchant location displaying the "Moje Rachunki" logo. The fee is payable in Polish z?oty (PLN) only.
Before going to a merchant, you must print the applicable U.S. visa application deposit slip available below on this page or out of your&. Take the printed deposit slip with you to pay your fee.&You will be unable to pay your fee if you do not bring a valid deposit slip.&To find a merchant in the "Moje Rachunki" network, click&.
Please note the expiration date on the deposit slip. If the expiration date passes prior to using the slip to make your payment, simply return to this site and click the appropriate link below to generate a new deposit slip or deposit slips.
