《机械风暴》这款游戏的玩法有很多种，里面的任务主要是进行暗杀以及救援破坏等，每个关卡的游戏难度是不一样的，玩家们可以选择自己所喜爱的武器来进行战斗，对于玩家们的射击技巧要非常的严格，下面就来看看这款游戏吧！
虽然说是横版卷轴式游戏，但游戏中玩家操作的人物还是可以做到非常灵活的。当然，游戏中怪兽的AI也是很好的，其中哥布林可以通过大部分的障碍以跟踪玩家，而被油污污染的兽人则移动缓慢不少。
在机械风暴这款游戏的故事发生在一个机械朋克的中世纪城镇中，玩家扮演油污污染的最后幸存者。游戏的操作在表面上看来和魂斗罗很像，实际上却有着天壤之别：游戏中的多人关卡随机生成，武器则可以按照玩家的喜好自由组装，画面也和三位一体2不相上下。
