The Kam Urog Shrine is one one of the
in the Hateno Region of The Legend of : Breath of the Wild.
Location: Kam Urog Shrine is located just past Fort Hateno, but can only be opened by solving
Shrine Quest. Speak to Calip in the hut nearby to start the quest, and go up the path into a canyon on the left to find an area full of statues. Only by coming at night can you spot a statue with aglowing eyes. Strike it with an arrow to reveal the shrine.
Upon entering the shrine, you’ll see a large circular device below you that encompasses the shrine. Head down the slope to enter the obstacle, where you’ll find it’s constantly moving in a clockwork fashion, dragging spiked balls along with several platforms tied to the moving structure. You’ll need to navigate it by dodging the spikes and getting near a platform as it orients itself so you can climb it. Note: When the first large platform comes around, stay on it and avoid the large spiked ball until you can run to the end of the platform when it is almost horizontal. From the end, jump towards the opening back outside the device to find a chest holding an Opal. Now turn around and wait for small platforms to pass around you until you spot one with a small chest on the top, and jump to it and quickly open it to get a Soldier’s Spear. From the first platform, wait until it is horizontal to jump to the gear in the middle. From here, you’ll need to wait until another platform is horizontal on the other side you can jump to where another gear leads upwards. If you are having trouble timing it, be sure to use the Stasis Rune to stop time so you have time get to the next gear. When you reach the top section, you’ll have to wait for a shorter platform that forms a staircase up to the top. Again, you can use the Stasis Rune to stop the gears letting you run up without worry. Now at the top, you can speak to Monk Kam Urog to get your .
