iOS游戏遇中国困境 盗版外挂成最大难题
  千变万变,国情不变。曾经毁了中国PC游戏市场的那些东西,如今又在iOS游戏市场一一重现:盗版、外挂、抄袭、强制消费、恶意竞争……
  短短两年时间,中国的iOS游戏业已经从孕育创意的摇篮,沦为一片硝烟弥漫的战场。这是整个中国游戏业的一个缩影。
  《鳄鱼小顽皮爱洗澡》售价6元人民币,用户评论称“要是不收费就更好了”
  3月4日,苹果公司宣布App Store的应用程序下载次数突破250亿次,来自中国青岛的女孩傅春莉成为第250亿次下载者,她下载的是迪斯尼出品的游戏《鳄鱼小顽皮爱洗澡》 (Where’s My Water)。这是继《植物大战僵尸》、《水果忍者》和《愤怒的小鸟》之后,又一款风靡全球的iOS游戏。
  傅春莉下载的是游戏的免费版本,可以试玩10个关卡。《鳄鱼小顽皮爱洗澡》完整版的售价为6元人民币,相当于一张盗版光盘的价格。在这款游戏的“用户评价”中,一位中国玩家给出了五星的评价,标题是“好玩”,内容是:“如题,要是不收费就更好了,费电啊。”
  1月12日晚,苹果零售店三里屯店门口,上千人排队等待购买iPhone 4S。中国人为何愿意掏4000多元买手机,却不愿为一款6元的游戏买单?中国大陆的iPhone销量全球排名第二,iOS应用市场的规模却仅为全球的3%
  今年1月13日,iPhone 4S在中国大陆地区正式发售后,遭到“黄牛党”的疯狂抢购。苹果公司首席执行官蒂姆?库克回应称:“我们已经尽可能保证大规模的生产,但还是被(北京的)阵势吓到了。”
  中国大陆已成为iPhone全球销量排名第二的地区,仅次于美国。而与硬件的热销形成对比,iOS应用市场在中国大陆显得不温不火。
  今年年初,触控科技首席执行官陈昊芝给出了一系列数字。他表示,目前国内的iOS设备约为2000万台到3000万台,其中60%为破解版,不贡献 收入,有效的设备终端约为800万台到1200万台,以1000万台的中间值以及5%的付费用户计算,付费用户在50万人左右。
  按照他的估算,如果每人每月购买10个应用,每个应用6元,国内市场的年销售收入约为4亿元人民币。而根据花旗银行一年前的调查报告,App Store的年销售收入将达到20亿美元,折合人民币120亿元。这意味着,中国大陆的iOS应用市场的规模,仅占全球市场的3%。
  破解?外挂
  全球有10%的iPhone进行过“越狱”,而在中国,这一比例高达60%。“要做单机就做海外,要做国内就搞联网。”上海一家iOS游戏公司的创始人王剑(化名)说。原因与十年前国内厂商纷纷转投网络游戏的原因如出一辙:因为盗版。
  2011年6月,iPad 2中国大陆行货正式发售后一个月,有人在威锋网论坛上发帖,询问大家在App Store上总共花了多少钱。有人回答“0,每天下载的都是限免的”;有人回答“买的代购,1:1买的”;有人回答“0元!等越狱中”。
  半个月后,iPad 2实现完美“越狱”,图文及视频的详细教程在国内各大手机网站上迅速传播。据“越狱”软件社区Cydia的创始人杰?弗里曼(Jay Freeman)估算,全球约有10%的iPhone进行过“越狱”。而在中国,“越狱”的iOS设备已经占到总量的60%以上。
  两年前,修订后的美国《数字千年版权法》已正式认可“越狱”的合法性。借助“越狱”,用户可以安装App Store以外的扩展软件及外观主题,使用之前无法使用的功能,例如安装第三方输入法,或是把iOS设备当作移动硬盘使用。而国内大多数用户选择“越狱”的目的只有一个――安装破解软件。

  去年9月,一款名为“iAP Cracker”的应用程序在已“越狱”的用户中间流传开来。该程序利用了付费应用中的漏洞,通过修改程序内购买(In-App Purchase)返回的交易状态,以达到欺骗程序、实现免费内购的目的。
  iAP Cracker的性质类似于网络游戏中的外挂,受其影响最大的是采用内购收费模式的单机游戏和部分联网游戏。使用这个“外挂”在游戏中刷金币、刷钻石、解锁各类内购物品,成为了很多玩家的乐趣之一,不仅造成开发者的经济损失,而且破坏了游戏本身的游戏性与平衡性。
  大多数iOS游戏均已采取应对措施,设置服务器验证,封堵漏洞。然而,今年2月,一个国人编写的内购破解程序――“IAP Free”又频繁出现在了国内的各大手机论坛上,号称可支持的游戏比iAP Cracker更多,并会不断更新。
  “最新的数据是78个里面有2个是真正的购买。”2月21日,在苹果开发社区CocoaChina论坛上,一名iOS软件的开发者无奈地说。3月1日,IAP Free增加了对《泽诺尼亚传奇4》的支持,用户可以免费购买游戏中的金币和宝石。IAP Free是一款国人编写的内购破解程序。
  黑卡?刷榜
  全中文介绍、全中文界面的游戏,竟然在国外的App Store排行榜上名列前茅
  2011年12月,英国游戏设计师威尔?卢顿(Will Luton)在推特上称,一款叫做《胡莱三国》的中国游戏在英国App Store排行榜上升至第三位。奇怪的是,这款游戏并未针对英国市场进行本土化,游戏的介绍完全为中文,下面还有一位用户评论称:“我刚发现自己被这款游 戏收走了69.99美元,可我从没玩过这款游戏,也从没听说过它。”
  两个多月后,英国手机游戏网站PocketGamer.biz报道称,《胡莱三国》在大洋彼岸的美国也飙升至App Store排行榜的第三位。此外,来自中国的另两款游戏――《掌上三国》和《快乐棋牌》――分别冲至第11位和第59位。在这三款游戏的用户评论中,有不 少人投诉,称自己从未下载过该游戏,也从未内购过,却被莫名其妙地扣了一笔钱。
  事后接受采访时,互爱科技总裁黄建表示,《胡莱三国》其实是“黑卡”的受害者,游戏在国外排行榜上的异常现象,是部分国内玩家通过购买绑定“黑卡”的iTunes帐号,在游戏内大量购买道具所致。英国游戏设计师威尔?卢顿发现,一款叫做《胡莱三国》的全中文游戏在英国排行榜升至第三,用户称从未听说过这款游戏,却被莫名扣钱。
  开发者的急功近利,过度刺激消费,以及“刷榜”等行为,也是“黑卡”泛滥的原因
  游戏玩家对“黑卡”并不陌生,Xbox平台上曾有不少玩家以“黑卡”购买Live点数。
  “黑卡”即来源不明的信用卡,其背后往往是破解或盗取他人信用卡信息的“黑客”。在App Store中国区尚未使用人民币支付之前,用户购买游戏或在游戏中内购道具必须使用双币信用卡。由于支付不便,加之贪图便宜的心理,部分用户选择低价购买 绑定“黑卡”的iTunes账号,进行消费。另一方面,游戏本身在设计时将刺激用户消费凌驾于游戏性之上的做法,也是人民币支付开通后“黑卡”仍大量存在 的原因之一。
  “黑卡”泛滥的直接后果是软件开发者的高坏账率。去年10月,国内部分iOS游戏开发者的坏账率由8月份的20%,猛增至45%以上,最高甚至达到88%,这意味着,100元的销售收入,开发者最终拿到手的只有8元。
  “黑卡导致国外开发商彻底放弃中国市场,中国的开发商因为得不到应有的收入而死掉,我们死了,是小事;但老外玩家怎么看待中国玩家呢? 老外不傻,纽约时报也报道过失窃信用卡在App Store上的生意,这极大损害了中国人的尊严!”《海岛帝国》的开发者杨祥吉在微博上说。
  而具有讽刺意味的是,部分开发者的“刷榜”行为,也是“黑卡”泛滥的源头之一。为了以相对低廉的成本获得市场和资本的关注,一些急功近利的开发者雇 佣专业从事“App营销”的第三方公司,刷排名、刷流量、刷五星、刷好评,或是针对竞争对手刷一星、刷恶评。这些毫无诚信可言的行为,不仅扰乱了市场秩 序,更对整个行业的生态环境造成了恶劣影响。
  国内游戏大多采用内购道具的收费模式,将刺激用户消费凌驾于游戏性之上的做法,也是人民币支付开通后“黑卡”仍大量存在的原因之一。
  抄袭?山寨
  这款游戏以“与《星际争霸》具有极高的相似度”为卖点,不以抄袭为耻,反以为荣。去年11月,美国动视暴雪向中国的盛天堂公司发出一封律师函,起因是盛天堂旗下的iOS游戏《星际世界》涉嫌侵权《星际争霸》。
  盛天堂的《星际世界》是一款以星际战争为背景的科幻类策略游戏,游戏设定有人族、虫族、神族三大种族,母舰、凤凰战机、女妖战机、金甲虫、巨像等兵 种,以及部分建筑物,均直接抄袭自《星际争霸》系列。该产品的一篇宣传稿甚至以此为卖点,称:“在游戏画面上,《星际世界》和《星际争霸》具有极高的相似 度,无论是游戏界面、游戏地图、游戏的背景,还是各种建筑物设计、兵种的造型等,都是模仿《星际争霸》中三大种族的特点设计的。”
  这种赤裸裸的抄袭行为,在中国的iOS游戏市场上并不少见。不仅仅是游戏的系统、角色、场景、道具、音乐,就连游戏的名称也会被大量“山寨”。开发者不追求创意,而是试图通过简单复制以及刷排名等不正当竞争手段,快速获利。
  《星际世界》设定有人族、虫族、神族三大种族,游戏里的母舰、凤凰、女妖、金甲虫等兵种,以及部分建筑物,均抄袭自《星际争霸》系列。
