微软收购MinecraftEdu 将推全新教育版《我的世界》
近日，微软宣布收购游戏形式学习工具 MinecraftEdu ，将会面向学校推出全新版的沙盒游戏 Minecraft 《我的世界》。
MinecraftEdu 是一款以游戏形式进行学习的工具，以全球最畅销的之一的《我的世界》为基础，针对教学用途进行相应的内容调整。Teacher Gaming 的网站上对这款软件的描述是“由老师创造，而且是为老师而创造”。
据悉，微软意在帮助学生和教育工作者熟悉编程语言，并能通过教育版的《我的世界》接触到更多的知识，例如，通过深化地图坐标精准度来制作导航系统，或直接通过多人游戏模式，允许多达 40 个人共同创造一个”我的世界“，以增强团体协作能力。
其实在收购 MinecraftEdu 之前，微软在 2014 年 9 月份以 25 亿美元的价格收购了瑞典的 Mojang 公司（即《我的世界》开发商），任玩堂也曾报道过相关的游戏主题教育活动（），可见《我的世界》完全能起到一个寓教于乐的作用。
微软方面表示，计划在 MinecraftEdu 的基础上打造出教育版《我的世界》，并且在今年夏天率先推出一个免费试用版，想学编程的朋友不妨就从它开始，而未接触过该游戏的朋友也可以先在版的 Minecraft–PocketEdition 《》了解一番吧！

ComputerCraftEdu brings programmable turtle robots to Minecraft!
It is a new way to learn computational thinking inside Minecraft. Players will start with a tile-based
interface to learn the fundamentals of programming in a fun, accessible environment. They will be
engaged and motivated to find ways to use turtles to automate and extend their usual Minecraft activities.
Whether you are completely new to programming or you already have some experience, ComputerCraftEdu is
an easy and fun way to learn important real world skills and get creative on a whole new level.

WHAT IS THIS?
ComputerCraftEdu is a modification (mod) that adds programmable turtle robots
to the world of Minecraft. Turtles can do all kinds of useful things such as fly, dig, build and set
DO I NEED TO KNOW PROGRAMMING TO PLAY?
No. The idea behind ComputerCraftEdu is to give you an easy start to understanding
the structures and logic behind programming. You start by controlling your robot with a remote by giving
simple one-step commands. You’ll start actual programming by dragging and dropping commands to a grid area
and gradually move to placing those blocks by just using the keyboard and finally to write the actual code
with just text.
WHY SHOULD I TEACH PROGRAMMING WITH COMPUTERCRAFTEDU?
We teach programming in the world of Minecraft and give the students an authentic
motivation to learn programming. Instead of appealing to how useful the skills will be in the future, with
ComputerCraftEdu the skills they learn will be directly applicable when they go home and play Minecraft.
Never underestimate the appeal of digging diamonds!
WHAT KIND OF A COMPUTER DO I NEED FOR THIS?
If your computer can run Minecraft, you can play ComputerCraftEdu. It works with Windows, OS X and
Linux. Check the full requirements
DO I NEED SOME SPECIFIC VERSION OF MINECRAFT?
ComputerCraftEdu is based on Minecraft 1.7. Look for 1.8 updates in the future!
WAIT, IS THIS FREE?
Yes, ComputerCraftEdu is completely free. As long as you have either MinecraftEdu or
regular Minecraft, you’re good to go!

There are a couple of different ways to install ComputerCraftEdu. It comes included in MinecraftEdu but can also be
downloaded separately for both MinecraftEdu and regular Minecraft. Choose your role below and we'll walk you through
the process!

Getting started as a teacher
ComputerCraftEdu is a motivating way to teach programming to your students. It engages them in their
natural habitat (Minecraft, where they already spend a great deal of their waking hours) and offers
meaningful use for their newfound coding skills.

Minecraft is the perfect way to engage with your children: exploring the world and creating buildings,
your imagination is the only boundary. ComputerCraftEdu expands the world of Minecraft with programmable
robots that are both useful and educational. It’s an easy way to introduce your children to programming
and maybe learn something yourself as well!

TeacherGaming is an independent game development company of teachers and developers based in the
