1.四川省达州市达县属于达川区。2.达州市是四川省的一个地级市，是1999年经国务院批准，由原达川地区更名建立，现辖通川区、达县、宣汉、开江、大竹、渠县5个县和代管万源市。3.达川区地处四川盆东平行岭谷区、盆中丘陵区、盆周低山区连接地带。4.地形总趋势北麓离，东南低，成因类型属＂川东褶皱剥蚀一侵蚀低山丘陵岭谷区＂地貌。5.地貌特征完全受构造、岩性控制。6.中部的铁山、东南部的铜锣山、七里峡山、明月山，为北东一南西向的条状山岭，山脊海拔300至1000米，构成了区内低山地貌。7.铁山以东条形低山之间为广阔的红色浅丘地貌，铁山以西为红色丘陵区地貌，以北为台状低山地貌。8.全县山地约占总面积的29%，丘陵约占70%，平坝占1%左右（主要分布于河谷地带）。

1、达州市属于四川省。达州，地处四川东部，辖4县2区1市，幅员面积1.66万平方公里，是人口大市、资源富市、工业重镇、交通枢纽和革命老区，享有“巴人故里、中国气都”之称。
2、达州市古属巴国，东汉置巴西郡，梁置万州东关郡，西魏改万州为通州，北宋改通州为达州，清嘉庆时改达州为绥定府。1950年，设达县专区，辖达县、宣汉、开江、平昌、巴中、南江、通江、万源等8县，属川北行署区；设大竹专区，辖大竹、梁平、垫江、邻水、广安、渠县等6县，属川东行署区。
3、1953年，撤销大竹专区，将大竹、渠县、邻水3县划归达县专区；垫江、广安、梁平分别划归涪陵、南充、万县专区。达县专区辖达县、万源、宣汉、开江、邻水、大竹、渠县、南江、巴中、平昌、通江等11县。1970年，达县专区改称达县地区。1976年由达县析置达县市，1979年由万源县析置白沙工农区，达县地区辖1市11县1工农区。
4、1993年，达县地区、达县市更名为达川地区、达川市；将巴中、通江、南江、平昌划给新设立的巴中地区管辖。1999年，撤达川地区设立地级达州市，原县级达川市改设通川区。2013年撤达县改设达川区。
