“自主命题”可不是“主题”的简称！之前也常常有同学问小ONE，自己被RISD的自主命题限制了发挥，不知道应该如何表达这个“主题”。小ONE现在就要告诉大家！这个三个词汇只是RISD给出的一个范围和方向，是学校针对学生的考核点，这三个词汇，并不等于创作的概念和主题！
Assignment，不是一个单纯的能力展示作品，它与艺术留学作品集不同，它没有固定的标准线，也允许学生用任何媒介与形式，任意发挥。对于任何一个命题，RISD希望每一位学生都能有自己的想法和创意。

Verify，名词形式为“Verification”，这应该是3个命题词汇中，各种释义都较为统一的一个，简言之——“校验”，名词可解释为“验证”。
关于这个词汇，你会想到什么呢？小ONE想到的是另外几个与之相关的词汇：“流水线”、“复制”、“标准”等，没错~小ONE说的就是大师Andy Warhol！
除此之外，小ONE还想到了近年来大家对于当代艺术的争议，当代艺术是什么呢？什么样的作品才称得上是一件有“价值”的作品呢？这个价值要如何衡量呢？当代艺术到底是空穴来风无厘头，还是意味深长的深刻内涵？小ONE现在的脑袋已经开始疯狂的转动了！

Forge是本次3个命题词汇中，涵义最多的一个，不仅有多层释义，还有专业领域专指。对于这样的词汇，大家可以进行更深层次的Brain Storm。
比如对于释义-“To make an illegal copy of something in order to deceive”，小ONE首先想到的，就是艺术家Richard Prince，与他的所代表的“借鉴主义”。
作为艺术界最受争议的一位艺术家，无论在任何场合，每每提到Richard Prince，必然都会引起一番热议。
