Love it or hate it (and regardless of how you choose to pronounce it), the GIF probably isn’t going anywhere.
Not too long ago, the GIF had become something of a joke around the Internet. No modern-minded web designer would incorporate GIFs into their designs, lest they wanted to become the butt end of a million “” jokes.
Then came the spread of high-speed Internet, allowing longer, higher quality GIFs to be loaded on the fly. More importantly, then came a massive shift in how content on the I suddenly, the stuff the users added to a site or service — the comments, the blog posts, the tweets — became just as important as anything the site itself could provide. Then came the reaction GIFs, the meme GIFs, and GIFs of animals doing adorable things. The GIF spread like a virus across a billion tumblrs — and just like that, a once lampooned format that had been around since the late 80’s was in the middle of a resurgence.
You’d still be hardpressed to find a web designer who will tack a GIF into his shiny new site — but the users? They couldn’t care less. In many ways, GIFs are far easier to share than videos. They’re more immediate (in that they don’t generally require user interaction), and generally compatible with more devices. In terms of effort-required vs. emotion-conveyed, GIFs are pretty much your best bang for the buck.
And yet, making GIFs is still a bit of a pain. At least, it’s harder than it needs to be. There are about a million websites and apps that offer to take, say, a
clip and convert it into a GIF; alas, about 999,999 of those are bad news in one way or another. Some are filled with spyware. Some throw obnoxious watermarks all over everything they spit out. Many just plain don’t work. There are some good ones out there, but they tend to disappear as quickly as they pop up. Still, these third-party sites shouldn’t even need to exist.
That YouTube has yet to fix this, to embrace the GIF as a sharing mechanism, seems a bit crazy.
I threw together a quick example of how it could look. In GIF form, of course:
So, what’s in it for YouTube?
1) Easy Traffic: “Source?” With any good GIF, it’s the first question people ask. If they made it so that the provided image code links back to the original YouTube video, it’s easy traffic from someone who’s clearly interested in seeing this specific video.
2) Data: If multiple users all make GIFs of roughly the same part of a video, you know that part of the video is particularly interesting for some reason. Tada! That’s free data that could be used for calculating when to place ads.

凌晨更新：&/p&&p&昨天还是前天来着，随便分享了自己收藏的几家店铺，没想到一天之内就上了千赞，现在直逼两千了，不太清楚这在你们时尚版块是不是很正常……还有私信问我收不收钱帮打广告……不好意思，私信的那位语言能力堪忧，断句卡位，事儿不说明白，让我有预感估计东西也不会太好，所以没有回复，今后再有这种事儿也别私信我了，其他人也别在评论里阴阴地留言个牌子店铺名就跑，送你们进折叠。以上分享的店铺，唯一要说的利益相关，就是我给他们送过钱。&/p&&p&&br&&/p&&p&后半夜集中回复了几个评论，让我觉得有必要在这里补充一些。&/p&&p&&br&&/p&&p&首先，这篇店铺分享肯定是集我个人的风格和趣味的，肯定有人喜欢，也有人不喜欢，这很正常。不过我也是考虑过日常实用性，所以还有一些很小众趣味的店铺并没有在这里分享，不过这种店铺我一般也只是看看，很少买的，自然也不敢在这里推荐。而对我来说穿衣服本来是很私人的事情，发帖爆赞是我没预料到的。&/p&&p&&br&&/p&&p&然后就是有好几位质疑图片里的风格很挑人的，普通人穿不了，再或者说别觉得模特穿的好看就以为自己穿的也很好看了，更甚至直接说我推荐的衣服只能给一米七五的人穿的……咦？好像跟我打开网购的方式不一样？……零零散散地回复完评论后，我觉得这个问题还是有必要细细说的。&/p&&p&&br&&/p&&p&会有人这么质疑，我想大概是因为卖家给的外模图还是挺误导人的，尤其我第一家就推荐的【UNTIL EIGHTY直到八十岁】的模特的画风就很性冷淡，面容寡淡，身板也太清瘦。不过不得不承认，的确是这个画风第一时间吸引到我的注意力。&/p&&p&其实他们家的衣服很多款也很适合我这样：一米六几不高不矮不胖不瘦，有胸有肚子有屁股……总之是哪哪儿该有不该有都有的妹子。&/p&&p&图片里模特穿着风衣外套在大腿中间，实际上买之前会通过卖家的尺码信息我能知道，换我穿的话大概在膝盖下面一点点，可这正好是我期望的外套长度了呀，因为自觉自己的膝盖不好看，遮住最好了。类似的，吊带裙模特穿是卡在膝盖了，我穿大概就是小腿中间，算得上是中长裙，加上我胸上有肉，稍显腰身，配合素色的调子我再抹个红唇，呈现的是另一种跟模特完全不同的风情和气质——这个气质是我的，而不是模特的。&/p&&p&其实仔细辨别，【直到八十岁】的衣服，至少我贴出来的，有奇形怪状么？有难度系数很高的装饰异物？颜色饱和度很高？一件衣服内的配色很跳元素很夸张？都没有吧，相反，17年冬季这个系列都不过是正常规格的衬衣、裙子、外套、裤子罢了，该强调腰身的时候强调腰身，该在领口袖口纽扣等等细节处下心机的下心机，然后整一系列配色和谐，元素相互呼应，可以随意搭配，可以说算是用心在做的一套季度系列了。唯一要说的，可能就是模特太高，个别款式确实胸围偏小。不过考虑他们家是【RIMLESS无边】的子品牌（印象中如此，现在好像找不到相关信息了），不敢保证他们今后系列会不会非主流起来。&/p&&p&&br&&/p&&p&说到底不过是小几百块的常规衣服，设计有些别致和小心思，&b&但衣服也只是衣服，是拿来修饰人的，模特只是给了其中一种演绎，至于适合自己与否，试试不就知道了&/b&，&b&买到不合适的，退了就得了，买到合适的，开心地穿着呗。&/b&&/p&&p&&br&&/p&&p&至于后面几家的衣服，我看来大概只有【循环】家的红色长裙可能不太好驾驭得住——生活中能驾驭好这种红色的人就不多，容易让人望而生怯。但其实我看来穿不好红色与面貌身材种种联系不大，而是缺乏一种自信放松的气场。别急着驳我，试想想就算面容皎好的姑娘，穿红裙的时候低头含胸，走路时流露出怯懦小气的意思，跟红色热情奔放的意向相背，大概也会觉得有点不舒服……扯远了。&/p&&p&我是想说可能也就数循环家的红色长裙不够日常，但本来我对他们家裙子的定位也就是女孩子衣橱里平时穿不上，但怎么着也得备着几件留给特殊场合的那款。而剩下几家的，可能RLL中好些款式稍有难度，不大好搭配，其余大多我看来都还算常规款，可能这种日常风格会有人不喜，但这很正常，就连我推荐的店铺，也不是说里面每一款我都看得上。&/p&&p&&br&&/p&&p&另一点是跟网购经验有关的。&/p&&p&&br&&/p&&p&我觉得作为理性正常的消费者，应该能够通过卖家给的尺码信息估摸衣服上身后对应自己身体的长短宽瘦。对此有基本底线的店铺都不会有太大的偏差；而那些低于底线的店铺，比如很多网红爆款店，大可能会存在因衣服本身问题，在拍摄时别夹子和后期过度修图（瘦腰瘦胳膊拉腿一全套）的问题，并最终造成货不对板的情况。&/p&&p&理性的人大致都接受了自己是穿不出模特的感觉了，但是也应该清楚前面两种情况的不同。&b&买到不适合自己的衣服，前者是自我认知和期望的问题，要不行就退了呗；后者则是信息甄别的问题。&/b&&/p&&p&不过这也是很多人网购体验差的原因，毕竟整个大环境，便宜买不到好货很正常，又贵又丑的东西也是满地走，而养成自己的审美判断和信息甄别的能力，找到适合自己的风格，又不容易速成。所以对装扮自身这件事，有条（qian）件的可以直接请靠谱的造型师，东西往好的贵的买一步到位；而没有钱可以浪费的人，只能浪费时间了……&/p&&p&所以我网购，不仅是因为我又懒又宅，嫌逛街很累的，还因为啊商场里买得起的看不上，看得上的买不起，而更多的是看不上也买不起。所以评论里要喷淘宝买衣服不行的烦请温柔点，这已经是我等宅人得以修身养性娱乐身心的最后一块阵地了……好吧，主还是因为懒。&/p&&p&&br&&/p&&p&说了这么多，最后回到我分享的几家店铺上来。我只能说在我的购买经验来看，主要推荐的几家店铺的确是在用心做衣服的，设计款式和面料上有其可取之处，但确实大部分也不是什么多贵的衣服，也请大家理性调整自己的期望。&/p&&p&&br&&/p&&p&啰嗦的话完了。&/p&
