Welcome to Project Superhuman. This mod adds armor sets for different superheroes from Marvel and DC. Each character has unique abilities which are admittedly quite fun to play with. None of the suits or items are craftable by default (this can be changed in the config). Instead, as you kill mobs, they will drop points that are collected similar to experience. These points can be used to "purchase" costumes. In addition to points, mobs will also drop Blind Bags. When right-clicked, the bag is opened and a random armor piece is dropped. This is inspired by collectible card games where early on you will get mostly unique pieces but the more you get the harder it is to find the pieces you actually need. This is intended to promote trading with friends as is the case with CCGs. Additionally, there is a block, the Point Converter, that can consume your extra armor pieces and turn them into points. To get started with "purchasing" suits you will need to do some exploring to find dungeons, blacksmiths, or strongholds. In these places you will find the HeroSuits catalog. This catalog has a description of each character. It also serves as the "store" for buying individual costume pieces as well as blind bags. The point converter can also be found here. The plan at this point is to eventually add as many characters from Marvel and DC as possible. The order that characters are added in will be based on both my personal opinion of the character as well as that characters popularity based on the comments that I am seeing both here and on Youtube.

Added point system. Killing mobs will sometimes produce points (similar to the way experience is dropped). These points can be saved up and used to buy Blind Bags.Added Blind Bags. The BB Gun has two modes. Holding sneak and right-clicking will switch between the two modes. The first mode is Air Blast Mode. In this mode, hit entities will take minor damage and be knocked back greatly. The second mode is Flare Mode. In this mode, hit entities will receive a special kind of blindness for 5 seconds.

NightcrawlerPressing R will spawn in Nightcrawler’s sword. You must have the first inventory slot selected for this to work.
Nightcrawler can now properly climb walls rather than just sticking to them.
HulkAdded Swiftness, Regeneration, Resistance, Fire Resistance, and Step Assist potion effects.
Added toggle for the Super Jump by pressing R. When active, the Hulk will jump far even if the player is standing still.
DaredevilAdded Daredevil’s Billy Club which can be spawned in by pressing F. You must have the first inventory slot selected for this to work.
Holding sneak and right-clicking will change the mode of the Billy Club. In the short mod, it does less damage but has a chance to stun hit enemies. In the long mod it does more damage.
The “blindness” overlay is no longer as bright as it was before.

Those are planned. The web sling is going to take some doing but I do at least intend to try to get it working. Sticking to walls was an over-sight and it will be available. What are your opinions on how the suits should be acquired? Should it just be crafting or how would you personally prefer it?

By the way, shadow, Iron Spider will be an alternate suit for Spider-Man in the next version. I just finished it a little while ago. I have to say, it looks pretty cool. Thanks for the idea. I sparked my creativity and now Spider-Man has 8 different suits.
So maybe we can still craft but to get the materials would be something diferent like lets say, for spiderman you have to find a genetic changed spider around the world to get the special component of the suit

Hmm. Yeah, I still don't know. It's not a bad idea but crafting is just really boring to me. Keep posting ideas if you have any. I'm sure something fun will eventually be thought up. If not, then crafting can always be the default.

Yeah I plan on it. The way I intend to do things is have a Marvel update and then a Dc update and switch back and forth. If you look in the main post, toward the bottom, there is a spoiler that has everyone I plan on adding but I'm sure there are characters that I forgot.

I've been thinking about it and I kind of like the idea of an Action-RPG feel where maybe when mobs are killed they will drop "points" of some kind that can be used to "buy" suits. Also, certain mobs might have a small chance of dropping a suit piece.Killing a Wither will drop a random costume "pack" and the Dragon will drop full suits or the more OP characters eg. Superman. Any thoughts?
No, once you have a suit killing either the wither or ender-dragon becomes easier then within say a half-hour you have all the suits.

I agree, the point system looks better
No, once you have a suit killing either the wither or ender-dragon becomes easier then within say a half-hour you have all the suits.
Edit: the point system sounds alright though.
