*新的特殊人种-木乃伊
在Inc Gamer有一篇关于模3世界历险记的一些资讯。
大部分大家都知道了，但是也有些新的讯息喔!
EA has revealed what to expect in The Sims 3 World Adventures if you decide to explore Egypt, Mummies!
美商艺电EA发布了一些关于模3:世界历险记的惊奇，如果你打算要去埃及探险，你就会遇见-木乃伊。
Nope not your Mum, even thought that would be quite entertaining (and a bit more scary), but full blown historical Egyptian mummies and they have one agenda...to curse your Sims.
不，不是你的妈妈喔! (Mummy木乃伊和mum拼音法音很相像!)虽然说这样满有娱乐佳值(也有些恐怖)，而是在充满了历史风情的埃及木乃伊，而且他们是有目的的-诅咒你的市民。
While exploring Egypt you will be able to discover treasures, participate in numerous challenges and investigate the hidden caves and tombs which litter the landscape.
当你在埃及探险时，你将可以发现宝藏。 参加很多的挑战，探索分散在四处的隐密的山洞和陵墓。
The location will be one of three real-world inspired locations, and will include Pyramids, tombs laden with sarcophagus' and the odd unwelcome guest. With the mummy, EA has confirmed it could end in three different ways depending on your Sim. If you have a Sim which knows martial arts you will be able to fight off the ancient Pharaoh, but if they don't either you will be knocked unconscious or have a curse put on your Sim resulting in a new quest being unlocked.

To get the curse removed you will have to send your Sim to the Sphinx and ask for the chance to remove it using the soul peace statue, if the Sphinx refuses though it will signal the unfortunate demise of your Sim!
如果你要让你的市民解开诅咒，他们必须去到狮身人面向那里去利用和平灵魂雕像来要求移除诅咒的机会。 但是如果狮身人面像拒绝了，那代表开始了你的市民不幸的一生了。However you can also become a mummy, with this your Sim will gain numerous advantages such as the energy and bladder motives becoming non-existent which will result in no trips to the toilet or having to sleep. Not only that your Sim will become strong, have a longer life compared to other Sims and have unique social interaction items.
但是你的市民也可以变成木乃伊喔!如果市民变成木乃伊，他将会得到很多的益处。 例如:没有精力和厕所的需求。 你的市民不仅会变的很强壮，也会有比其他市民更长的生命。 而且也会有特殊的社交的互动。
Sounds good doesn't it? Well its not all great as your Mummy Sim will move alot slower than normal Sims and also be alot more prone to fire. How much fire you put your Sim around is abit questionable, lets be honest your not going to make him make dinner next to a gas cooker are you?
听起来很不错吧!当然当个木乃伊市民并不是全部都是好事啊!木乃伊市民将会行动较缓慢，而且比较容易引起火灾。 所以如果我是你，我将不会安排让木乃伊市民煮晚餐或是将他安排在火炉旁边喔!
We were very impressed with The Sims 3, and have high hopes for the first expansion World Adventures which will launch 20 November on PC and MAC.
我们对模3的印象非常的良好。 而且对这再11月20日将会出货的第一个资料片模3:世界历险记有很大的希望喔! (美国官网是说11月17日，所以大概是17日吧!)
所以说，模3:世界历险记的特殊人种就是木乃伊。 看来小人既然可以变成木乃伊，那应该也是可以嫁娶木乃伊和生小孩子吧!不知道小孩是长什么样子的!
期待吗?我还不知道。 倒是对这个伟士牌的摩托车比较有期待!不知道能不能一人骑一人坐在后面。 如果可以，那来拍个罗马假期也不错! (我想大概很多人都没听过罗马假期吧!)

刚刚在My Sims World看到JD发表的SimOperations关于世界历险记的确定的特色。
既然他没有翻译，我就来翻译喔!
模 3: 世界历险记
出货日期 : 2009 年 11 月 16 日 ( 怎么越来越早啊 !)
The Sims 3 lets your sim live in an open, seamless neighborhood, but now you can take your sim out of Sunset Valley or Riverview and into a new world destination. While exploring the landmarks of an exotic city, there is no telling what the Sims will find. From mastering martial arts in Shang Simla, China , discovering rich culture and famous landmarks on a romantic getaway to Champs Les Sims, France or exploring the depths of ancient tombs in Al Simhara, Egypt , players can take their Sims on a journey that will change their Sims' lives. Players can accept challenges to search for secret treasures, learn new skills and chase down new personal opportunities, meet new Sims with unique personalities, share their culture and bring them home, discover new styles on their travels, and share everything they encounter on their adventures with the world through personal photographs, movies, and stories.
模 3 让你的市民生活在一个没有接缝的社区哩，但是现在你可以带你的市民离开日落西谷或是河景镇，来到一个新的世界旅游景点。
当市民在探索某个城市的著名地标时，你将不知到你的市民会发现什么东西。 在中国上模拟海 ( 哈哈 ) 学武术，发现文化资产和在法国香榭模拟大道的罗曼蒂克的旅行或是在埃及的 Al Simhara ( 我真的不知到埃及金字塔是在那个城市 !) 发现古老金字塔的深度。
玩家们可以带着他们的市民们来一趟改变他们市民的旅程。 玩家可以接受挑战还寻找秘密宝藏、学习新的技能、找寻市民个人的机会、认识新的人物、分享他们的文化、带他们回家、在旅程中发现新的风格和利用在旅程中拍摄的照片、电影和故事来和人分享他们的旅程的所见所闻。
Sims can travel to three destinations (at least) in China , France and Egypt
市民们至少可以再中国、法国、和埃及到三个旅游景点。
Sims must book holidays via the phone or the computer
市民们必须利用电话或是电脑来预定假期。 ( 和环游世界是一样的 )
Sims can live permanently in the destinations
市民们可以永久的住在这些景点。 ( 这个不错喔 ! 我要住巴黎 !!!!)
Sims can purchase a holiday home in one of these destinations
市民们可以在其中一个景点买房子。 ( 这样是只说不可以在两个景点买屋子吗 ?)
Landmarks, such as the pyramids, will appear in the game native to the respective country
地标，例如 : 金字塔，将会出现在应该出现的国家。 ( 所以你在巴黎是看不到金字塔的喔 !)
Sims can enter certain buildings and landmarks
市民们将可以进到某些建筑物或是地标。
Players can open chest, remove rubble and more to discover treasure and collectables
玩家们可以打开宝藏乡、移开石堆和其他动作还发现宝藏和可收集的物品。 ( 他说玩家，不是模拟市民 !)
New skills are introduced to help the player whilst in these destinations
新的技能可以帮助玩家在新的旅游景点。
One of the new skills includes photography
其中一个新技能是 摄影技能。
More traits will be introduced
会增加更多的新的人格特性。
Destination opportunities will be introduced
将会有景点的机会卡。
Locals may approach your Sim and ask them for help
旅游地区的当地人可能会找你的市民并且要求你的市民的帮助。
Opportunities are give out whilst in destinations
景点才有的机会卡只有在旅游时在会出现喔 !
Destinations aren't just vacations, they are new neighborhoods
景点将不只是度假时才可以去喔 ! 她们也是新的社区喔 !
Sims start off at a base camp, and must earn a reputation before purchasing a destination home
当市民们去旅游时，将会停留在 ” 基地 ” ，而且必须赚到名声才可以在景点购买房子。 ( 那名声怎么赚取啊!)
Sims can honeymoon in destinations
市民可以在景点度蜜月喔 !
New clothing, traits and moneymaking options will be available
将会有新的衣服、人格特性和新的赚钱方式。 ( 这是一定要有的啦 !)
Sims can travel by payment on a plane or for free through their career
当市民去旅行时，可以自己付钱买机票或是因为工作机会而可以免费搭飞机。 ( 不错喔 ! 工作需要可以免费去玩呢 !)
Although still open-ended, there is a side storyline to all the destinations
虽然说还没有任何的结果，但是每个景点将会有故事情节。
Sims have journals with information in about their past visits
市民将会有日记来记录他们过去的旅行经验。
Sims have &visa& points which limits the time they can stay
市民们将会有 “ 签证 ” 点数来决定他们可以停留多久 ! ( 就像去美国有签证有一定的期限吗 ?)
Mummies! Sims may become a mummy and go under a &mummy's curse&
木乃伊 !!! 市民可以因为木乃伊的诅咒变成木乃伊。
Martial Art skill is introduced
将会有武术技能。 ( 应该是中国吧 !)

Sims can plead to be taken back to normal life (after being a mummy) to the sphinx
木乃伊市民可以向人面狮身像请求变回正常的市民。
Mummies are stronger and slower decaying needs
木乃伊是比较强壮的，而且需求的也降得比较慢 !
Ghost Mummies!
木乃伊鬼魂 ! ( 哈 ! 变成木乃伊还不够倒楣喔 !)
Sims can marry/bring home sims (like with Bigfoot in The Sims 2: Bon Voyage)
市民可以和市民 ( 我想应该是木乃伊大概是写太快写错了 !) 结婚或是带他们回家。 ( 就像模 2: 环游世界的大脚一样 !)
New Nectar Making skill
将有新的酿酒技能。
Some skills will need to be learnt in one destination to be a benefit in another
某些技能将再一个特殊景点学习后，当到另一个景点才会有办法使用 ! ( 学武术去打木乃伊 ! 哈哈 !)
&Base Camp& offers adventures for your sims to go on,
在 ” 基地 ” 将会提供市民探险的机会。
Sims can travel for weeks,
市民们将可以旅游好多个星期。
Sims don't age whilst on vacation,
市民在旅行时将不会变老。 ( 这就和模 2 一样啊 !)
Tents are available in Sunset Valley & Riverview,
在日落西谷和河景镇将可以使用帐篷。
&Base Camp& mainly consists of tents,
“ 基地 ” 大部分是由帐篷所组成的。
Higher levels allow you to have your own home in a destination,
当你的市民有高一些的等级，他将可以在景点买房子。 ( 是指上面说的名声吗 ?)
Completing adventures unlocks new ones and increases your visa level,
当市民完成探险后，将可以解开其他的探险，而且这将会增加 “ 签证 ” 点数。
Adventures are &chains& of activities,
探险是一连串的活动。 ( 是表示一关过了才能过另一关吧 !)
You can find parts of a rare item and re-assemble it to make a complete one to keep,
你可以找到 ” 特别物品 ” 的零件，然后重新组装变成一个完整的物品来保存。 ( 感觉是那些寻宝游戏 !)
Traps can be avoided (like jumping in a pool before attempting to pass fire traps),

New &secret doors& may be available in the base neighborhoods,

当你到官网注册世界历险记，将会有 15 个独特的物品让你下载。
Loading screens are back, but are in the form of a plane animation,
当你要去旅游时，将又会有等待下载的蓝色背景 - 飞机的动画。 ( 吼 ! 真不喜欢这个 !)
Egypt has sand dunes, pyramids and a sphinx,
埃及将会有沙丘、金字塔和人面狮身像。
Gold and Diamonds can be found,
金子和钻石可以被发现。
Collectables, keys and switches are hidden under rubble,
可收集的物品、钥匙和开关是藏在石堆下的。
There is unique items in all the destinations,

Holes-in-walls cover triggers,

Sims aren't always scared to see mummies,

Players can create their own tombs,

Tombs can be shared online,
创造的陵墓可是上传上官网和大家分享。
You cannot create custom neighborhoods or destinations,
玩家没办法自己创造景点或社区。
Make Nectar (sim equivalent of wine) and custom name it,
酿酒 ( 模拟市民界的葡萄酒 ) ，而且可以自己命名。
Three new traits including &adventurous&,
三个新的人格特性，包含 ” 有冒险精神的 ” 。
Gameplay is structured, so you might need a skill to open a door, or an artifact to progress,
游戏的进行是很有结构性的，所以市民需要特殊的技能才能开门、或是有某个手工艺品才能继续进行。
Fire can shoot up from the floor as a trap. But making your clothes wet first can protect you
陷阱可能会从地面会喷出火焰。 但是如果市民的衣服是湿的，就可以保护他们。 ( 蛮合逻辑的 !)
Sims battle mummies, and if they lose, become cursed
市民和木乃伊打架，如果输了的话可能会被诅咒。
Sims have 14 days to plead to the sphinx or find a cure when being cursed, or they will become a mummy too
市民将有 14 天可以向人面狮身像来请求解除诅咒，不然市民就会变成木乃伊。 (14 天后就不能变回来了吗 ?)
If a mummy is added to the family, unique features are created
如果木乃伊加入了某个家庭，将会特殊的互动会产生。
New cheats are added to help create your own tombs
将会有新的密计帮助你来设计陵墓。
Tents from base camp can be freely moved around so you can camp anywhere
在 ” 基地 ” 的帐棚可以自由的被移动，所以市民可以在任何地方扎营。
Sims must somehow get grapes to stamp on and make nectar
市民必须取得葡萄然后采在葡萄上面来酿酒。
Missions are optional. You can still enjoy the destinations as sandbox gameplay
这些任务将是可以选择要不要去达成。 你当然也可以只是去景点观光。
Secret tunneling can be discovered
可以发现秘密通道。
Like in The Sims 2: Bon Voyage, you can be put in states like &covered in bugs& when going on a certain task

Level 0 Visa lets you stay for only two days

Visas have levels which dictate what you can and can't do. For example, higher levels let you stay longer

Tasks include &take a photograph of...& (for example, &take a photograph of the pyramids and sphinx&)
新的任务包含 ” 拍一张 …. 照 ” 。 ( 例如 : 拍一张金字塔和人面狮身像的照片。 )
The game recognizes locations, items and sims in photographs
游戏将能够认出照片里的地点、物品。 ( 哇 ! 真厉害呢 !)
Each country has a national dish
每个国家将会有个 ” 国菜 ” 。 ( 中国是北京烤鸭吗 ? 法国是 … 烤田螺吗 ? 那埃及呢 ? 没吃过埃及菜呢 !)
Must start in Sunset Valley (or Riverview), so you cant just drop sims direct into destinations
市民必须在日落西谷或是河景镇创造。 所以你没办法直接将小人放进特殊国家。
Public toilets
有公厕 ! ( 主程式就有啦 ! 公园里啊 !)
Tasks are posted on the bulletin board at base camp
任务将会贴在 ” 基地 ” 的公布栏上。
Inside places like pyramids, unvisited rooms are black to achieve maximum surprise! (good or bad)
在金字塔里面还没有探险过的房间将会是暗蒙蒙的。 这样才能真正的吓到玩家。 ( 哈哈 )
Create your own tombs, and decide where the surprises/treasures are placed
创造自己的陵墓，然后选择那些地方有惊奇 ( 惊吓 ) 或是宝藏。
Nectar matures, the longer, the better
酿的酒会成熟，所以越陈越香喔 !

这个帽子真有法国的味道啊!
我的看法：刚听说「世界冒险」，就觉得这个梗很老了...不具备啥吸引力 但是后来有很多细节的介绍，好像慢慢变得有趣 （希望EA不要再来骗钱了..）。但还是有点遗憾“You cannot create custom neighborhoods or destinations, 玩家没办法自己创造景点或社区。” 这明摆着是，要我们购买正版然后拿下载码去下载....
