无论是谁，都得回归到好莱坞“大片＋衍生品”的公式里来，更多的钱，不过是为了制造更大的 IP。
“The red capes are coming, the red capes are coming.”
漫威遇到了真正的敌人。过去 8 年，全世界都在等待漫威挑战者的出现，或者更确切一些，等待 DC 向漫威发起冲锋。
在美国，这个叫做《蝙蝠侠大战超人：正义黎明》（以下简称《蝙超大战》）的冲锋武器相当好使：北美首日票房 8200 万美元，打破北美影史春季档最高开画纪录。首周末预计 1.7 亿美元，打破春季档最高周末票房纪录，也是华纳史上周末票房最好成绩。在此之前，还从来没有一部烂番茄低于 63% 的电影首周票房超过 1.5 亿美元。
它在全球市场表现要弱一些，预期达到 2.54 亿美元，其中中国贡献最多，为 3.7 亿元人民币。
《蝙超大战》万众瞩目，不仅仅因为它是多年来 DC 的正式反击，最主要的原因是它耗费成本 4.1 亿美元，其中 2.5 亿是制作成本。如果再追加几百万超越《加勒比海盗 5》，它就会成为史上投资最大的影片。
4.1 亿，这意味着好莱坞“高风险，高回报”的投资模式又达到了新水平。我们曾经在过往的许多稿子里分析过好莱坞的“大片模式”：在票房风险不可控的情况下，只有大片，才有可能带来源源不断的收入，其中既包括全球市场，也包括影院外的衍生收入。
同样有鉴于此，好莱坞出产的大片内核越来越简单，“什么样的电影能够跨过语言的障碍，被不同的国家接受？简单的电影。比如探险动作、漫画英雄人物和奇幻电影。相对复杂一些的电影对国际市场不会有那么大的吸引力，发行也就没那么容易。” 80 出头的纪录片导演 Mark Harris 曾经三次获得奥斯卡，他认为，电影市场的全球化让电影变得千篇一律，像是工业化的部件。
从这个视角来看《蝙超大战》，它至少涉及三个层面的较量：首当其冲的当然是 DC 和漫威，其次是华纳在整个好莱坞的地位，第三则是好莱坞的过往与未来——还记得斯皮尔伯格与乔治·卢卡斯一次对谈上提出的观点吗，“如果某一个暑期档，所有的大片都票房惨淡，那么好莱坞的好日子会不会就此到头？”
“一直以来，华纳兄弟公司都是‘六大’里发行影片最多的，除了制片能力之外，它依仗的还有母公司时代华纳强大的宣发能力，能够覆盖各个渠道——大片不需要太操心渠道覆盖问题，因为那本身就是新闻话题，不过‘片海战术’不可能都是大片。”万达院线的一位宣传人员告诉记者。
华纳去年共发行了 26 部电影，比之前一年还多了 4 部。公司全年收入 16.03 亿美元，比前一年微涨 2.6%。公司市场份额 13.9%，比前一年萎缩 1 个百分点。而且这 26 部电影里，没有一部进入北美票房榜前 15 名。
华纳的电影产出能力毋庸置疑，但电影生产能力不代表赚钱能力。一个相似的反面典型就摆在它面前：派拉蒙。
2011 年，派拉蒙还是票房冠军，如今被华尔街认为是“没有希望的”，应当及时卖掉。产能不足——派拉蒙最近三年发行的影片平均每年只有 12 部，其他“五大”平均有 17 部——是派拉蒙落后的重要原因。
另一个原因则是它手上没有足够的大片。重启的《星际迷航》和《终结者》成绩不尽人意——《终结者》系列是否会延续如今也悬着——《变形金刚》系列终结，而且其收益本身也多数落入孩之宝手里，电影更像是孩之宝玩具的衍生品。
因此投资《蝙超大战》，更像是华纳的一次赌博。事实上，华纳是最早推出英雄电影的公司。1969 年，华纳收购了 DC，并获得其下所有人物的版权。 1978 年，里夫版《超人》上映，目前普遍认为这是最好的一部《超人》电影，里夫跑到电话亭飞快地换上超人服出现也成为观众心中的经典情节。干净、简单、纯粹，这部电影成了之后超级英雄电影的模板之一。
不过之后华纳的超级英雄之路并不算顺利。1987 年，《超人 4》上映，恶评之下，超人续集项目就此搁置；而 1997 年的《蝙蝠侠与罗宾》，如果不是因为第四部电影有《蝙蝠侠》的名字，早就被人遗忘，但也正是因为“蝙蝠侠”这三个字，它成了影迷和漫迷挥之不去的噩梦。各大公司不敢轻易启动超级英雄电影项目，而华纳更是将这类电影打入冷宫。
那时的华纳兄弟也并不需要超级英雄电影，那时它手上的项目太多。1999 年，《黑客帝国》上映，随后，华纳又发行了《指环王》三部曲，而在这三部曲终结之时，华纳持续十年的“哈利波特”系列已经开始席卷全球——可以说，在 21 世纪头一个十年，华纳始终不曾缺少大的系列电影。
但更主要的原因，还是大公司害怕失败。
老版超人电影系列终结于《超人归来》，那是 3 亿美元的大制作，但无论故事还是人物设置，都没有跟上时代。影片亏损严重，布兰登·罗斯也再没有接过商业大制作。
不过，2012 年，《黑暗骑士崛起》——唯一一部能单片对抗漫威电影宇宙的超级英雄电影——上映，也是这个系列的终结，华纳不得不开始新的筹划。
2013 年，《钢铁之躯》也给了华纳信心。《超人：钢铁之躯》是 DC 衍生宇宙（DC）的第一部作品，但事实上，《钢铁之躯》2013 年上映时候，华纳尚未拿定主意是否要真的启动自己的 DC 电影宇宙。直到 2014 年的 SDCC，华纳才公开宣布：在未来五年，将拍摄十部电影。
《蝙超大战》，不过是华纳挽救自己的大片局面的第一步。
《黑暗骑士崛起》
2、漫威的规则，DC的机会
漫威创造了一个“宇宙”。
“宇宙”，其实就是一系列彼此独立但互相关联的故事，共同构成一个电影体系。漫画中这已经成为惯用的手法，漫威把这一理念带进了好莱坞，扩充了先前好莱坞中“Franchise”这一概念，不再严格区分正传、外传、前传、续集，而是彼此交错，不分主次，电影拍摄时风格尽量有所区别——如《雷神》系列风格是古典神话电影，而《美国队长 2》则是谍战和政治惊悚电影——以覆盖更多观影人群，而且，宇宙中一部电影失败，并不会直接影响另一部电影的成功。
理论上来说，几乎任何电影都可以扩展成宇宙，实际上来看，好莱坞也确实在这么做。变形金刚宇宙、金刚大战哥斯拉宇宙、怪物电影宇宙……去年大获成功的《侏罗纪世界》也宣布要将公园里的故事拓展到整个世界中，而已经属于迪士尼的《星球大战》也开始了外传项目，拓展电影里的宇宙。这里面最成功的公司还是漫威。
8 年，12 部电影，片头都有漫威的标志。漫威，Marvel Cinematic Universe，全球票房超过 87 亿。漫威是迪士尼的一部赚钱机器，也是“迪士尼模式”最典型的代表：电视、动画、玩具、游戏、乐园在一长条产业链共同繁荣。对迪士尼而言，电影的票房从来都不是最赚钱的收入。
漫威之于迪士尼，和 DC 之于华纳，最明显的区别在于前者被收购之后依然保持独立运作，而后者只是一个从属部门，华纳兄弟影片公司本身又是时代华纳旗下的公司。
DC 的电影战略必须服从华纳电影的整体电影规划，在不缺少大片的情况下，DC 从来不是华纳优先考虑的选项，哪怕《黑暗骑士》三部曲，也只是作为普通大片来生产制作，诺兰的三部曲更近于犯罪剧情片，人物和故事都放弃了夸张的漫画风格，也难以与超人等神级人物互动。
不过漫威危机也日益显露。
漫威发展到现在，将“宇宙”放在整部电影之前，成本管控能低就低，大量使用高风险低成本的演员与导演，并且签下几乎可说是卖身契的长约（演员约以六部起跳）。此外，强调电影之间彼此的关联性，要求导演在建构单独作品个性同时，还要无缝融入漫威宇宙的世界观。
如此强势，以至于 2014 年 5 月，《蚁人》导演埃德加·赖特因“创作理念不合”，退出剧组。类似的还有负责夜魔侠电视剧的制作人德鲁·高达辞去电视剧相关职位。
二十世纪福斯一位匿名的员工解释说，过去的福斯超级英雄电影更成人化，故事更关照人类社会，但现在，大家都意识到，“漫威的明快色调和卡通气质的人设更有市场”。
但这种风格会引起审美疲劳。尽管有《蚁人》和票房取得巨大成功的《死侍》，漫威的深层电影风格和价值观念也必须保持一致《美国队长 3》讲述内战的故事，这是漫威漫画中一个十分著名的大事件，漫画最后，经历了残酷的斗争，美国队长最终身死，而蜘蛛侠和其他英雄也付出了巨大的代价。但导演在不同场合表示，电影里的内战更像是“家庭纷争”，讲述了一个“兄弟之间的感情故事”。
DC，或者说华纳的机会，是开辟不同于漫威的大片风格，而这个风格建立在一定意义上的个性化之上。
扎克·施奈德受到诺兰的影响——严肃、黑暗、现实，它的作品的色调均偏浓重的暗色，浓墨重彩，尤其是作用到漫画改编作品上。这种风格，也让一些大众已经疲软的题材重获生命力。在《钢铁之躯》和《蝙超大战》中，他进一步调整了自己的风格，相对而言对观众友好很多，但与漫威的区别依然一望而知。
另外，和漫威“先独立再合体”不同，华纳“先合体再独立”，通过人气角色，带动电影里其他电影角色，起码就神奇女侠而言，这一策略成功了。其实，甚至漫威自己也开始采用这一策略，黑豹先在《美国队长 3》中出场——从预告片中来看，戏份颇重——之后才会有单人电影。
当然，某种程度来说，这一策略也是被逼无奈。华纳先前本来打算从《绿灯侠》（2011 年）开始，慢慢铺垫人物关系，形成整个 DC 宇宙，顺利接档“黑暗骑士”。但《绿灯侠》投资 2 亿美元，全球票房却刚刚持平制作费用。华纳没有时间慢慢来了，只能走相反的路线。
现在来看，在 DC 下一部电影《自杀小队》中，会走相对轻松的路线——这是从《银河护卫队》学得的。
《自杀小队》
有人会说：1996 年，DC 和漫威合作推出漫画 DC vs. Marvel，如今真实地在好莱坞上演了。
但这不过是一个颇具戏剧化的表达，毕竟现在谈的是好莱坞电影——每个典型的好莱坞电影总离不开大战、对手、宿敌等桥段。事实上，他们的对抗，只是前面所说新大片时代的一个章节而已。
如前所述，《蝙超大战》电影投资达到 4.1 亿美元，而另外的报道则表示，《复仇者联盟 3》的上下两部，总预算将达到 10 亿美元。好莱坞在电影票房以外的收益越来越大，让他们不惮于投入巨额资本在电影上，哪怕利润率很低。
“电影已经不仅仅是好莱坞的生意，而是好莱坞、硅谷和华尔街的共同生意。”一位电影投资人告诉《好奇心日报》。
倘若放到这个层面上，迪士尼和漫威虽然遇到了困境，但他们具备极强的 IP 开发能力。虽然第一批复仇者们的合约陆续到期，漫威已经开始了新老交替计划，“没人可以取代小罗伯特·唐尼”，但这并不代表，没人可以取代钢铁侠。并且，漫威也一改先前不请大牌明星的传统，找来“卷福”本尼迪克特·康伯巴奇出演奇异博士，显然，费吉掌控漫威之后，后者有了新的变化。
认为，《蝙超大战》“绝对不足以让 DC 在电影市场上和漫威一较高下”，但“正如片名里正义黎明这四个字一样，酷炫的闪电海王一闪而过，仿佛 DC 崛起黎明前的黑暗一般”。蝙蝠侠和超人，背负了太多历史包袱，很难在形象上让人耳目一新，will lian 觉得最能圈粉的还是神奇女侠，“希望能够很好地带动整个DC 宇宙，还有在全世界女权问题的当下趁势提升一些口碑”。
说到底，一切都得回归到那两个俗气的字眼上来，“圈粉”。好莱坞各大玩家的筹码成倍上涨，这里面风险有多大，往外拓展整个宇宙边界的动力就有多大。《蝙超大战》，不过是把这个生意往不归路上再推进一步而已。
