&&&&《韦氏大词典》出版商、美国梅里亚姆?韦伯斯特公司11日评选出2007年度热门词汇。网络游戏爱好者表达胜利喜悦的w00t一词当选。这个词的特别之处在于中间是两个阿拉伯数字“0”。它或许昭示，结合数字和字母已成为造词最新潮流。
&&&&w00t的意思像“耶”，韦氏词典解释，“通常被网络游戏爱好者用于表达胜利后的愉悦之情，有时也没有任何意义”。
&&&&美国的新生代是在发手机短信和打电子游戏中长大的一代。为了输入方便，他们新造了许多稀奇古怪的词汇，于是便诞生了w00t。排在w00t之后的是facebook，意为“在facebook网站上添加某人为好友，或查找某人”。
