The task of the thesis was to produce a plan of program work and also intoxicant and mental health care for Pelso prison (Finland). The entire rehabilitative activity in Pelso prison was gathered for the plan. The plan is ment to support counsellors to develop program work and intoxicant and mental health care. Rehabilitative activity requires close cooperation of the staff. The plan was carried out as a project.
The aim of the thesis was to improve the rehabilitation work for prisoners in Pelso prison.
Further studies should evaluate the realization of the plan and to develop further activities on the basis of it.
