物品 (Items)是在Don't Starve世界中任何可以拿走与可以带走的东西 (相对于物件是固定的)。 物品可以是任何东西，除了一些角色专属物品外，皆能够靠搜寻，采矿(mining) ,种植(farming) 以及杀死生物得到。多数的物品都有其独特专属功能，食物可以恢复饥饿值、健康度与理智值，衣物能够御寒(warmth)，增加防御力和回复理智值，有些物品可以被用来合成。

下表为物品清单与其堆叠上限、类型以及如何取得。 一般来说，小型物品可堆叠到40个，中型20个，而大型则仅能堆叠10个。例如：燧石 =& 40，木材 =& 40，而木板 =& 10。

【游侠导读】《饥荒（Don’t Starve）》无论作为独立游戏还是生存类游戏都是成功的，美中不足的地方便是多人合作模式迟迟未至，现在“在一起（Together）”多人模式拓展包的演示来了，一起欣赏下吧。

　　正向名字所说的那样，该扩展包将为游戏加入多人模式，允许最多4名玩家同时游戏，也许未来将增加人数。视频中并没有提到更多关于多人的东西，只是演示了一个玩家在多人模式中死了会怎么样。现在看来他们会变成鬼魂，而且他们似乎需要采集木头才能复活。别担心，变成鬼魂时，你还是可以和你的朋友聊天，大概这就算实现缠着他们的效果了。
　　《饥荒》的多人模式将于今年夏季晚些时候加入游戏，已经购买游戏的玩家可以免费体验。如果你在多人模式发布后再购买游戏，价格会有所提升。在正式发布前，会有试玩提供，不过该多人模式扩展包目前只适用于PC平台，敬请期待!
