BEIJING: In what appears to be a straight competition for influence with India, China has increased its official aid to Nepal by more than five times. China has also promised to build electricity infrastructure in Nepal worth $1.6 billion to counter an Indian offer of soft loan for the power sector.

Chinese aid to the Himalayan nation will rise from the present level of $24 million to $128 million in 2015-16. The announcement came after talks between Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi and his Nepali counterpart Mahendra Bahadur Pandey in Kathmandu on Friday.

Nepali elite have for sometime complained that India has taken its relationship with the country for granted, and has not done enough to meet its development aspirations. China appears to be filling in the gap besides competing with Indian companies in Nepal’s power sector.

I do it as a principle. And not only toys, even when I buy some thing, I prefer a company made in Korea or even Taiwan /wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif The made in Japan are more or less missing, last time I went to buy Cannon camera, I couldn’t get a single one other than Made in China, so came back empty handed (And that was in Germany, assuming at least there they would sale the original factory makes). So you can understand the penetration. We have not only to boycott, but also generate alternatives, preferably home grown.

Yes, that is true, many products china supplies at cheap rate in Middle east and Asia (may be even Africa), they are very poor quality, and plastic and leather look feel materials are all harmful to health and nature. I never buy Chinese products if there is a choice.

精辟，不过三哥的卵子我却觉得是那盲目的自信心，三哥们只要一直闭着眼以为美国第一，俄国第二，自己老三，就可能因为自己过剩的人口问题，种姓问题，男女不平等问题等等内部矛盾对其周围国家进行吞并与侵略，事实上三哥也确实在这么做，吞并锡金，与中国，巴铁的领土纠纷，还有总想以帮助当地平叛的名义往斯里兰卡，孟加拉派兵等等，都是因为三哥们认为自己是像俄美中一样永远都不会失败的国家。而三哥对国民自信的培养也是不遗余力，光辉战机，啊穷坦克，核潜艇，航母，烈火导弹，没成果有结果的火星探测。。。这些在中国人看来与半成品无异的东西被三哥各大媒体循环报道，真正看到后续的有几个，但是对三哥来说就是比修厕所重要，因为就算是花钱弄了个摆设，只要好看，三哥就不会在意厕所什么样，因为能给自信加分。所以自信的三哥未来一定会是一个超级大麻烦，无论是对于中国，还是对于世界，不过外国人不会太上心吧，毕竟中国顶在前面呢

62年这场战役，印度不但输了军事，更重要的是输了国际影响力，让当时很多国家看清了印度无非就是一个外强内干的国家，这会使得他在国际上的威信和影响力都大大降低，尤其在亚洲这一块和发展中国家这一块，让无数小国见识到了谁才是第三世界的老大。这个影响是非常巨大的，这是一个巨大的政治上的损失，影响可以几十年。与之相反的是，这场战役和朝鲜战争对中国赢得了一笔巨大的政治财富。
但是非常奇怪的是，全世界其他国家的都对此有认识，但是唯独印度这个当事国家没这个意识，而且不单单是平民，连高层都是如此。无知无畏这词完全适合用在印度身上。

一个是打少了,就像一战后的德国,二战后的日本.还是那么气焰嚣张.并且想卷土重来.
